About UEF Estonia
A volunteer chapter of an eighty-year-old European movement, registered in Estonia as a non-profit association.
Where we come from

1946: federalists from twelve countries meet at Hertenstein and found the Union of European Federalists. Their claim is that peace requires a federation, not a league of states.

1984 onwards: UEF and the Spinelli tradition push every serious treaty reform of the Union, from the draft treaty on European Union to today's proposals to abolish the veto.

Now: 2026 is UEF's eightieth year, and the movement is arguing for a European defence union and a federal treaty reform at once.
The Estonian chapter
UEF MTÜ is a non-profit association registered in Estonia, run by its members. The board is elected by the general assembly and works unpaid.
We are small on purpose about promises and ambitious about the argument: Estonia's security, economy and language survive better inside a democratic federation than outside one.
